On this compact Brighton site, limited space and evolving client needs inspired a considered, refined approach. We carefully designed the kitchen, living areas, and landscaping, selecting a cohesive material palette and layered lighting to enhance both function and atmosphere. Every element was thoughtfully considered to create a balanced, harmonious, and effortlessly integrated interior.
Thinking Inside the Box – Landscape Design
The backyard offered limited space, yet the pool equipment needed to be concealed without disrupting how the area functioned. Since relocating it wasn’t possible, I designed a solution to place the equipment underground and disguise it with a built-in pool seat that opens from above. This effectively hid the bulk and noise while keeping the compact backyard clean, open, and easy to navigate.
