“Virginia was instrumental in everything from our floor plan to kitchen, laundry and bathroom designs as well as colour and materials choices. She listened to what we wanted and paid attention to what our style was, then guiding us on what would and wouldn't work.”

Correcting the Flow
Oak Street: The kitchen now flows effortlessly into the dining, living, and outdoor areas, creating a bright, functional heart of the home.
The Challenge:
The original kitchen felt closed-off and disconnected from the living areas, limiting social interaction and daily functionality. Storage was awkwardly configured, creating clutter.
The Solution:
We rethought the layout to improve the "work triangle" incorporated custom cabinetry, and optimised storage—without changing the home’s footprint. Every element balances practicality with clean, contemporary aesthetics.
The Result:
A social, high-functioning heart of the home that supports your daily rhythm.
Oak Street Project — Kitchen Opening to Side BBQ and Outdoor Entertaining Area
“We had an amazing experience working with Virginia on Hampden Road, Armadale. The attention to detail in our butler’s pantry, walk-in wardrobe joinery, and bar under the stairs was exceptional. Each space is both beautifully designed and highly functional. Their design vision, craftsmanship, and ability to truly understand our needs made the entire process seamless and enjoyable. We couldn’t be happier with the result.”
Bathrooms & Laundries: Extracting Luxury from Small Spaces
Cramped wet areas with outdated fixtures and poor lighting.
The Challenge:
The Solution:
Rigorous space planning to improve circulation, paired with a material palette that balances durability with spa-like warmth.
The Result:
Efficient, serene spaces that feel expansive despite their size.
Before: The original bathroom was cramped and outdated, with poor circulation and lighting.
After: Thoughtful planning and material selection transformed the bathroom into a serene, luxurious space that feels open and inviting.
“From exploring lighting and wood veneers to selecting floors, stone, and countless other materials, Virginia made every step feel well-supported and thoroughly considered. I developed complete confidence in her judgement, and that confidence carried over into my own decisions about the house.”
Living & Flow: Connecting the Dots
The Challenge:
Disjointed floorplans where rooms feel disconnected and dark.
The Solution:
Redesigning the floorplan to improve light and connection between zones, using colour to create a cohesive narrative throughout the home.
The Result:
A home that feels composed, intentional, and harmonious.
“Virginia has somehow managed to turn a stuffy and run down box into a series of spaces that still give me visual and emotional joy every time I enter them. The outcome is exactly what I wanted and much more than I could have hoped for.”
Open, connected living: light-filled spaces flow from entry through kitchen and dining to the verandah and valley views.
